Re: Albertson's Coupon Policy Dear Ms. XXXXXX,
My name is Stan Nichols and I am the Division Service Manager for Albertsons.
There are a couple that I would have to go test to see if the logic is right from a register system, but I wanted to get this answered ASAP.
Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Buy one Get on Free on Sale and a coupon for the same. This is one I would have to check with the system (as this is a very usual occurrence) but if my logic is right the only way is that you would have 3 of the same product.
The system would deduct the 2nd one to zero automatically and the coupon would be applied to the 3rd item.
It does also depend on how the coupon requirements read. If you had an example we could answer better. We cannot think of a time this has occurred.
2. Using a $x off a buy one get on free. You can only use one coupon for the actual item you are paying for and it can not exceed the amount of the item.
3. One coupon per item / per purchase – Usually this one works all in one transaction with multiple coupons as long as you have the correct number of items correspond to the item. This is one that I would also have to double check the system, but to my recollection I have answered right.
4 & 5 of limit on number of coupons in a transaction and number of like coupons in a transaction, at this point in time there are no limits on these. As long as all the requirements are met according to what the coupon states and does not go above the retail price of the item.
6. We do take internet coupons, but not for free items. If a purchase is required and then a free item is given that is acceptable.
Example: Free 12 pack of soda – this would not be accepted
Example: Buy a gallon of milk recieve a free package of 16 oz Oreo cookies. This is acceptable.
I hope these answer your questions.
Sincerely,
Stan Nichols
