Yes, this has happened to me before a couple times in a different stores. They said that they cannot even let me buy 2 of the rebate items in the same transaction. It does seem stupid as each rebate account has to have a different address, so it's not like one person can submit two rebates from the same account. I just make a separate trip as it doesn't seem worth the fight.
