I've only taken one thing back to Aldis-and it was potatoes like the previous poster. I bought them and realized as I went to use them THAT NIGHT that they were moldy and disgusting.
We took them back that night...receipt and stinky potatoes in hand, ready to do battle if need be to get a refund or new potatoes that weren't moldy.
They waved us back to the potato section and said just get new ones. We did. Left the icky ones by the register as instructed and they didn't even ring the new ones up-just said to take them. I had no idea about the "double guarantee" but if I ever have a problem again, you can bet that I will ask for the double guarantee. If it were the bbq sauce and we just didn't like it or something, I probably would've just tossed it, but if it's something that was "bad" like the potatoes, I think the double guarantee is nice. Get your new potatoes and your money back for having to drive across town to return them...I like it. |
