Chat Room, Blog, Comments and Social Group Rules
The rules of the site apply to all social areas of this website such as chat rooms, blogs, comments, and social groups.
Discussion of coupon misuse, abusing the store policies, ways to get around the system, bad language, adult content, solicitations, referrals, links to competitor websites, etc. is not permitted. Violations can be reported to any moderator and may be subject to our warning/infraction system.
Chat Room Rules:
While we realize that chat is a little looser in nature than public forums, but please keep your conversations in line with the rules of the site and keep in mind that we do have under age members that frequent the chat room, please keep your language and topic of discussion PG-13.
Picking or ganging up on “newbie’s” or other members is not allowed. Please behave as adults. Should there be an issue in the chat rooms you may contact the chat mods or any of the board administrators.
Currently, there are 8 Chat Rooms in Flash Chat. They are:
- Coupon Deal Discussion Chat - For Deal talk
- Coupon Trading Chat (*This room is password protected if you wish to use this forum please PM a member of the HOTCOUPONWORLD mod team and we will give you the password. Only member of the Trading Group can trade in the chat room)
- General Discussion Chat – Off Topic
- CVS Deal Discussion Chat – CVS deals and talk
- The Lounge – A laid back off topic chat room
- Book Masters – Chat room for our book club
- Hollywood – Discussion of movies, their stars, and other media gossip
- Current Events – Talk about what’s going on in today’s world
Trading or selling in the chat room outside of the ‘Coupon Trading Chat’ room is prohibited. Hotcouponworld is not responsible for any trading done in the chat rooms outside of the ‘Coupon Trading Chat’ room or with members that are not a member of the ‘Trader Group’. We will not provide mediation, bad trader report, or bad trader listing for any member that is not a member of the ‘Trader Group’, neither can the iTrader system be used to leave negative feedback for trades gone awry in the chat rooms with member that are not members of the ‘Trader Group”.
We ask our member to try their best to keep the discussion on topic of the chat room. We realize that the nature of chat is to jump from subject to subject, but please try to be courteous of other members that do not wish to read chat on politics, sex, etc.
If you would like to see a chat room for other stores or topics please feel free to contact an administrator and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
Blog Rules:
The same rules for our site also apply to our blogs. To highlight some of the common violations:
- No coupon misuse
- No referrals or off site links
- No trading
Comments:
The ability to leave comments on articles, deals, and coupon codes is enabled in certain areas of our site. All comments must also abide by the rules of the site. Anything deemed in violation is subject to removal and/or infraction points.
Social Group Rules:
The same rules for our site also apply to social groups. Members may create a group on just about any topic or subject provided that the nature of the discussion is not in violation of our community rules or Terms of Service.
You are allowed to trade within social groups but Hotcouponworld is not responsible for any trading done in the social groups with members that are not a member of the ‘Trader Group’. We will not provide mediation, bad trader report, or bad trader listing for any member that is not a member of the ‘Trader Group’, neither can the iTrader system be used to leave negative feedback for trades gone awry in the social groups with member that are not members of the ‘Trader Group”.
