OK, so my dear husband wanted to get in on the popsicle action this go around. After hearing him spout off with all his brilliant ideas for popsicle recipes I said “go for it” and this recipe for Frozen Hot Chocolate popsicles is his brain child. It uses ingredients we already had in the stockpile – powdered hot chocolate mix and marshmallow cream.
I was skeptical at first but ended up being surprised at the end result. It is quite yummy. Nice and creamy and more like a frozen chocolate marshmallow. How cool. And the kids really enjoyed this one too because they ate them right up!
Frozen Hot Chocolate Popsicles
- 8 Packets of Hot Cocoa Mix (we used Nestle)
- 1 (7 Oz.) Jar Marshmallow Cream
- 2 Cups Water
- In the jar of a blender blend together the water, hot cocoa mix and marshmallow cream until everything is well combined, scraping down the sides of the blender with a rubber spatula as needed.
- Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.
- Unmold and enjoy!
